I just installed my shiny new cartech 2025i {Thanks Jim}, but I'm having an issue. I also installed new stainless braided lines and an fittings. All lines are secure no leaks of any kind. The only problem is when I romp on the gas I get this wierd whine noise. It's kinda like the noises you would hear when they tested your hearing in school as a kid, only louder. The rest of my fuel setup is: AEM fpr, Walbro GSS-250, RC 270's, JR MAP mod, and APEXI SAFC. Any ideas. Thanx in advance. Oh I'm also 9psi on a B18B1.

Check the pressure equalization hole on the Cartech (there should be one in one of the threaded bolt holes on the fuel side of the Cartech). Mine was doing this until I fixed the leak. If the sound is coming from your engine area and not from the back of the car, this is the most likely problem (you didn't change anything else, right)?

Hello everyone. I hope the holiday weekend was enjoyable. I unfortunately had to work it. Oh well more money to spend on the Teg. Thank god for time and a 1/2. Well yesterday morning before work I had a chance to mess with the fuel settings some more. For the most part I chased that noise away. Its still there under full WOT occasionally, but only briefly, and not all the time. Is this normal with the Cartech 2025i? I still need to fine tune the settings more. Anyone know the most optimal starting points for pressures. Again i've got the AEM fpr and the Cartech 2025i, 270's, SAFC {zero'd out till pressures are set at the two regs},GSS 250, and my fuel lines are -6an for the fpr and fmu. So the orifice on the AEM is a -6an now. I know Jim has a formula for this but my wife lost it. So Jim or anyone else please help and tell me if this is all normal. Thanks in advance.

A little off topic, but do you have the IAT wire hooked up to your JR MAP Mod with the 270 injectors or did you leave it disconnected?

Pulled the Cartech apart and sealed it up good with some liquid gasket goop that you can get from any automotive shop.
